Florida Clerk fee calculator
Florida Clerks may deduct statutory charges before paying out surplus (F.S. §197.582(2)(b) (opens in a new tab)). This shows the two charges set by F.S. §28.24 (opens in a new tab).
How it's worked out
- Registry fee, §28.24(11): 3% of the first $500, then 1.5% of the rest, for money the Clerk receives into the court registry.
- Tax deed disbursement, §28.24(23): $10.00 for disbursing excess proceeds of a tax deed sale (first $100 or fraction).
Whether each charge applies, and how a county rounds it, is up to the Clerk. Some counties also list their own charges on their county page.
